Sydney, January 7. The Caledonian Collieries, Ltd., has been registered with a capital >f two million, the first issue consisting of 750,000 ordinary and 250,000 pieference pound shares. (Received 9.55 a.m.) Port Darwin, January 8. 'After tracking for a month over 500 miles of country,- a trooper arrested three natives on a charge of murdering Chinese. [A cable on December 3rd stated that the bodies of two Chinese gardeners had been found beneath the ruins of a shed near Pine Creek. The bodies were terribly gashed and mutilated.]
