Premier Maura’s resignation, with that of 92 Senators, is the result of King Alfonso’s approval of a Cabinet consisting of Liberals and Republicans which breaks the tradition that the two monarchical parties should rule alternately. RESIGNATION OF THE MINISTRY. Lisbon, January 5. The Cabinet lias resigned. Senhor Almeida, Minister of Marine in the late Cabinet, is attempting to form a Ministry.
