WORKMAN DISEMBOWELLED. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, January 6. Thomas Niccol, 28, while at work on machinery carrying sacks from the Auckland gasworks to heaps outside the building, was entangled in the machinery and killed. Others .working near heard his cries of agony and stopped the machinery. The unfortunate victim, who had been practically disembowelled, died half an hour later. He was single, and a former resident of Sydney.
