OUTBREAK AT TE KUITI

(Per Press Association.) To Kuiti, January 2

A fire occurred at midnight, and destroyed the block at the corner of Horn and King Streets. The outbreak started in Mrs. Robertson’s refreshment rooms, which Avere destroyed, also C. Erickson’s paint shop and office, and Walker’s boot shop. The brigade’s good Avork prevented the fire spreading to Cheat’s surveyor’s office, and other shops and buildings OAvncd by Erickson, avlio is absent. Th« insurances are unknown. A similar outbreak took place in the same buildings about lavo months ago.
