DECEMBER RAINFALL.
The rainfall at “Rivorsdale,” Inglewood, for December, 1912, as observed by Miss N. Trimble, was as follows :—December 1, .89in., 2 .26, 3 .59, 16 .01, 18 .06, 19 .58. Total, 2.34 in. For the year the record showed; January 4.43 in, number of (lavs on which rain fell 14; February, 8.73, 16, March, 7.84, 15: April, 12.02, 20; May, 6.16, 13; June, 13.26, 22; July, 8.80, 15; August, 6.71, 12; September, 15.15, 28; October, 5.05, 17 ; November 16.44, 19; December 2.34, 6. Totals, 106.93 in., on 197 days. The maximum rainfall, 4.74 in. was on November 3rd.
