RACES AT NEW PLYMOUTH AND AXEMEN’S CARNIVAL, AT ELTHAM. 26th AND 27th DECEMBER. ON THURSDAY, 26th December, Special Trains, stopping at any intermediate station it required, will leave Hawera at 6.50 a.m., Stratford 8.15 a.m., arriving New Plymouth 10.5 a.m. Returning from New Plymouth at 5.55 p.m. for Hawera. The usual 11.15 a.m. train Hawera to New Plymouth, will NOT run. The usual 4.20 p.m. train will be delayed to leave New Plymouth at 6.25 p.m. for Pohokura and Hawera. The usual 7.0 p.m. train, Stratford to Pohokura, will be delayed to leave Stratford at 8.58 p.m., Pohokura arrive 11.15 p.m. The 6.50 a.m. and 7.20_a.m. trains from Hawera, and the 5.00 p.m. and 6.25 p.m. trains from New Plymouth will Stop for Passengers at the Autoro Street Platform, near Fitzroy. On THURSDAY, 26th December, Special Train will leave New Plymouth at 9.30 a.m., Stratford 11.30 a.m., arriving Eltharn 11.52 a.m. Special Train will leave Hawera at 11.10 a.m., Normanby 11.23 a.m., Eltham 11.55 a.m., arriving Stratford 12.17 p.m. Returning from Stratford 4.40 p.m., Eltham 5.15 p.m., arriving Hawera 6.0 p.m. A Special Passenger Train will leave Eltham at 4.45 p.m., Stratford 5.15 p.m., Midhirst 5.25 p.m.. New Plymouth arrive 7.0 p.m. On THURSDAY and FRIDAY, 26th and 27th December, the usual 4.5 p.m. Goods Train with Passenger Car attached, Hawera to New Plymouth, will NOT run. A Special Passenger Train will leave Hawera at 4.5 p.m., Stratford 5.40 p.m., New Plymouth arrive 7.28 p.m. On Friday, 27th December, the usual 4.20 p.m. train will be deia5 r ed to leave New Plymouth at 6.25 p.m. for Pohokura and Hawera. The usual 7.0 p.m. train, Stratford to Pohokura, will be delayed to leave Stratford at 8.58 p.m., Pohokura arrive 11.15 p.m. Holders of Excursion Tickets CANNOT travel to Eltham by the South Mail train, nor return by the North Mail train on 26th and 27th December.

Return train will leave Hawera 5.50 p.m., Stratford 5.33 p.m., and 7.8 p.m. New Plymouth 7.28 p.m. and 9.0 p.m. Special Train leaves Pohokura at 8.0 a.m., Te Wera 8.50 a.m., Douglas 9.35 a.m., Toko 10.0 a.m., arriving Stratford 10.30 a.m. Train leaves Stratford at 11.0 a.m. for Te, Wera. The usual 7.0 p.m. train will _be delayed to leave Stratford at 7.45 p.m., Toko 8.10 p.m., Douglas 8.35 p.m., Te Wera 9.35 p.m., Pohokura arrive 10.10 p.m. The usual 11.5 a.m. train Te Wera to Pohokurd and the usual 11.55 a.m. train Pohokura to To Wera, will NOT run. A Special Passenger Train will leave Te Wera at 7 a.m. for Pohokura. A Special. Passenger Train will leave Wanganui 6.20 a.m., arriving Stratford 11.25 a.m. Return train will leave Stratford 5.50 p.m., arriving Wanganui 10.40 p.m. Holders of Excursion Tickets to Stratford CANNOT travel by the .South Mail Train or return by the North Mail Train on Ist January. Trains will run between New Plymouth and Breakwater as required. On WEDNESDAY, Ist January, trains will leave Now Plymouth at 7.40 a.m and 9.25 a.m., Pohokura 8.0 arriving Hawera 11.9 a.m. and 12.35 p.m. respectively. Returning from Hawera at 4.5 p.m. and 5.50 p.m. for Now Plymouth and Pohokura. The usual 4.5 p.m. Goods Train, with passenger car attached, from Hawera to New Plymouth, will NOT run. A Special Passenger Train will leave Hawera at 4.5 p.m., Stratford 5.33 p.m., New Plymouth arrive 7-28 p.m. Holders of Excursion Tickets CANNOT travel to Hawera by the South Mail Train, or return by the North Mail Train, on the Ist January. On • THURSDAY, 2nd January, a Special Passenger Train will leave New Plymouth at 9.45 a.m., Stratford arrive 11.30 a.m. Return train will leave Stratford 5.45 p.m., New Plymouth arrive 7.30 p.m. A Passenger Train will leave Hawera at 10.50 a.m., Stratford arrive 12 noon. This train connects at Hawera with the 6.40 a.m. train from Wanganui. Holders of Excursion Tickets to Stratford CANNOT travel by the South Mail Train, or return by the North Mail Train, on 2nd January. On THURSDAY and FRIDAY, 26th and 27th December, the 4.5 p.m. Goods Train, with Passenger Car attached, from Hawera to New Plymouth, will NOT run. On WEDNESDAY, Ist January, the usual 11.15 a.m. train, Hawera to New Plymouth, and the usual 4.5 p.m. Goods Train, with Passenger Car attached, from Hawera to Now Plymouth, will NOT run. The usual 7.0 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Stratford at 7.45 p.m., for Pohokura. The usual 4.20 p.m. train will be delayed to leave New Plymouth at 5.32 p.m. for Hawera and Pohokura. On THURSDAY, 2nd January, the usual 11.16 a.m. train from Hawera will leave Hawera at 10.50 a.m., Stratford arrive 12 noon, thence running to New Plymouth at usual times.
