MAJESTY’S THEATRE
■here Was a good house at His Man’s Theatre on Saturday night to Bess the final screening of the curlb programme, the whole of which I with the approval of the audience. Blight a complete change of picBs takes place, the star attraction Big “Broncho Billy’s Bible,” on© of I greatest of G. M. Anderson’s ■stern series, A feature drama, Bling with the old-tim© thrill of the ■tie country, and highly sensational. ■ story runs: Broncho Billy and bis ■ after robbing the stage-coach, Bde the loot and part company, long the valuables in his share Bmcho finds a well-worn Bible, and, ■or skimming over the pages with ■rim smile, ne puts it in an inside Kket and rides into town. In the ■boh a poker game is flourishing, Bl “Quick-Draw” Kelly,” a notorx- ■ cheat and gun man, is cleaning ■ cowboys of their' earnings. Pronin sits in the game, detects Kelly ■fling an ace from the top of his Bot; calls his cheating at the point I his gun, brands Kelly with dis■ace and kicks him out. Burning ■h revenge, Kelly tries to kill Bronlo with a shot through the open ■bn, -but the bullet lodges in the ■bib and saves Broncho’s life. Pick- ■ the bullet from th© pages, Bron■o replaces the holy book in his Kket, rushes out, mounts, and starts per the escaping ruffian. They net and a terrific hand-!:,-hand ■‘itggle now ensues on the very brink ■'the yawning chasm. Back and forth ley sway until Broncho forces Kelly ■ his knees, then picks him up bodk and is about to cast him over the lecipice, when the Bible falls from Is pocket, and Broncho sees the lards: “Thou ©halt not kill” open heir© him. For a moment he fights nth himself, then allows Kelly to ■cape unmolested. Bible in hand, p finds a seat against the rocks and igins the faithful study of God’s ford, and the following Sunday finds im in the church for the first time i his life. The other dramas include “How .affles Escaped,” “Lake of Dreams,” nd “The Organ Grinder,” together ith a full list of scenics and com- *. _ The Christmas night attraction till include that grand sacred picture ‘The Passion and Life of Christ/’ a ne picture of the Saviour’s life and bath.
