UNUSUAL WIND STORM.

PLAYS TRICKS AT CARTERTON

(Per Press Association.) Carterton, December 20,

A wind storm of unusual fury visited the district yesterday, and did considerable damage to the orchards, gardens, hay fields, etc. It is a common sight to see hay stacked against fences, tho paddocks being cleared entirely. Tho weather is now calm and sunny.
