WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: — Tiie indications arc for westerly heavy gales and veering by west to south after 16 hours. The weather will prove very boisterous. Heavy rain to bo expected, with rivers flooded. The weather will probably become colder. Barometer falling, but rise fast after 16 hours.
The Secretary of the General Post Office advises that the Dominion Meteorologist predicts stormy weather and heavy rain, with rivers flooded.
