ENQUIRY FROM SOUTH AFRICA. PLANT FOR THE REFINERY. (Per Press Association.) Now Plymouth, December 17. The Taranaki Oil Wells, Ltd., have received an inquiry from a South African firm for samples and quotations for 3000 tons per annum of crude petroleum for use with Diesel engines. The company was unable to entertain the question, since the refinery will in a few months he able to deal with all the oil produced. The directors hope to start the new well to-day with the rotary plant. A' large quantity of plant lias just arrived for the refinery.
