“IN GAY PAREE.”
LOVER’S SERIOUS QUARREL. (Received 9.0 a.rn.) Paris, December 15. Walter De Mumm, a member of a champagne' firm, was shot in the lung by Mrs. Barnes, a wealthy American. The affair was the outcome of a lovers’ quarrel. Other accounts say that Do Mumm first fired two shots, wounding Mrs. Barnes seriously, whereupon she fired. Muram’s wound, is not dangerous.
