Quotations unless otherwise specified arc average market prices on spot. Mutton.—The market is firm, with a hardening tendency, high prices restricting business in market. Moderate supplies are coming forward. Canterbury North Island 4fd. Lamb.—The market is steady, and holders are firm. Canterbury 6fd. Beef.—There is a better demand. New Zealand hinds 3|d, fores 3|d. Hemp.—The market is quiet but steady. New Zealand good to failgrade £33, fair grade £3l 10s, fair current Manila £32, forward shipment £34. The output from Manila for the week was 18,000 bales. Wheat.—The market is dull on account of heavy arrivals from New Zealand, long-berried ex granary per quarter of 4961 b 38s, short-berried 375. Oat's.—The market is quiet but steady, with large supply. New Zealand short Sparrowbills ex granary per quarter of 3821 b 265, Danish per quarter of 3201 b 235. Beans.—The market is firm with more inquiry , for New Zealand. Faq 'new crop) per 6041 b 39s 6d. Peas.—The market is weak and inactive. New Zealand (Partridge) per 6041 b 38s Od.

River Plate shipments received during the month of November, 1912, at London were mutton 135,622 carcases, lamb 27,947.
