THE TIMARU STRIKE
(Per Press Association.) Timaru, December 4. Regarding the Waterside Strike, Union mem tiers say that no comimuueation has been received from tno 4'ederatioii executive, and do not believe that the executive have met to consider the strike, as telegraphed from Auckland yesterday. The steamer breeze is due to-mor-row, and her agents will find minds from their stores to work her.
UNIONS NEW REGISTRATION. Auckland, December 4. The General Labourers’ Union applied for permission to register under the Arbitration Act. Permission was granted by the Registrar. The Union cancelled the original registration some time ago, and joined the Federation of Labour,
