The South' African footballers defeated Ulster by nineteen to nil. AUSTRALIAN TENNIS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) Sydney, December 5. Messrs A. Jones, E. Jones, Rice, and Wright will represent New South Wales against Britain in matches commencing to-morrow. JACK JOHNSON TO MEET BOMBARDIER WELLS. (Received 11.0 a.m.) London, December 4. Jack Johnson’s London agents state that Johnson has authorised them to arrange a match with Bombardier Wells. It is understood that Wells is anxious to fight. The fight will probably be arranged to take place in Paris in June next for £7OOO. Johnson states that, he is getting over the trouble in America all right.
