WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: There are indications for northerly strong winds to gale, backing by east to south after -24 hours. Expect dull weather with mist, and fog in parts. Heavy lain is to be expected, with rivers flooded shortly. Barometer falling, but rising after 24 hours..
