FEILDIXG RACES. (Per Press Association.) Folding, December 2. For the second day of the Feilding races the weather was dull at the start, but bright sunshine prevailed all the afternoon. There was a good attendance and splendid racing. The starting was without a flaw during the whole meeting. The total put through the totalisator for the meeting was £28,324, against £26,016 last year. The following were the results after publishing yesterday;— Cheltenham Hurdles, of / 150 sovs ; one mile and three-quarters.—2 Koran 11.0, 1; 3 Cornelian, 10.8, 2; 1 Silver Chase, 11.8, 3. 4 Leolanter 10.4, and 6 Windage 9.10, also started. Koran won easily by three lengths. The crowd gave Coker, on Koran, an exceedingly venomous hooting for boring Cornelian in the straight," and for some time after ho weighed in. A protest was immediately put in by the owner of Cornelian, but the stewards were already dealing with the matter. Time, 3min 30 2-usec. The protest was sustained, and Coker was disqualified during the pleasure of the stewards, Koran being distanced and Leolanter placed third. Rongotea Hack Hurdles, of 100 sovs; one mile and a half.—l Chief Marshal 10.4, 1; 3 Moahau, 10.0, 2; 2 Flingot, 10.4, 3. 5 Neseot' 10.9, 6 Bandalero 10.0, 4 Timothy 10.3, 8 Rendrock 9.1, and 7 Sunrose 9.0, also started. Chief Marshal won rather easily by two lengths. Timothy fell at the last hurdle, but his jockey was uninjured. Time, 2min 67 3-osec.
Welter Hack Flat, of 100 sovs; seven furlongs.—2 Tetikura, 8.9, 1: Allure, 8.8, 2; 1 Mallard, 9.5, 3. 7 Master Laddo 9.9, B,St. Bees, 9.0, 10 Royal Simon 8.9, 3 Moutoa Girl 8.5, 5 Gazalie 7.10, 11 Pontiff 7.7, 6 Lady Xolan 7.7, 9 Regained 7.7, and 12 Jack o’ the Green 7.7, also started. Won by a length. A good race for second place. Time, ,Imin 35 4-ssec. Maiden Scurry, of 100 sovs; five and a half furlongs.—2 Awahou, 1; 11 Hamaruma, 2; 4 Sylvia May, 3. 7 Glcnlinet, 5 Portraiture, 3 Neriene, 13 Muscadine, 10 Elkmaid, 14 Rahani, 16 Elsie, 1 Lord Lupin, 12 Miss Jean, 14 Charge, 8 Waitoki, 9 Wireless, 15 Waiotapu, and G Divinia, also started. Awahou was first into the straight, and drawing away won by six lengths. Time, Imin 12 3-osec.
