the way to the north pole (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] (United Press Association.) (Received 8.0 a.m.) Washington, December 1. Captain Bartlett, at an Aero Clul dinner at Boston, said the safest and easiest way to reach the North Pole was by aeroplane. It was merely a four hours’ flight from Cape Jessiup northwards. This was easy, and the ri«e to snow-covered ground would make the conditions of ilight perfect in July or August.
