Mistcliuk, formerly head of the Kieff detectives, has refused to accept the theory that the murder of Yushcliinsky was a ritual crime. Mistchuk has been dismissed from office and prosecuted on a charge of fabricating evidence .with the object of proving that the murder was a ritual one. Mistchuk and three assistants were acquitted.
