THE RECENT APPOINTMENTS. (Renewed 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, November 2G. Regarding the appointment of RearAdmiral King-Hall to the China station, Mr Pearce (Commonwealth Minister of Defence) considers the engg u tad interpretation correct, and very satisfactory to Australia. Referring to co-operation with New Zealand, lie says that hitherto only informal and semi-official communications passed, but they might expect something more formal shortly.
