Dr. Cromhie, Medical Missionary at the New Hebrides Islands, states that lie is hampered by being under dual control. At the present time six different courts are operating. Still there is a much better fooling between the French and British than there was a few years ago. The French seem to be trying to enforce the law against breaches of regulations and doing what they can to carry out the law. The islands, however, will never do any good commercially or otherwise until they are under one Government.
