ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
FOUND DEAD IN BED
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, November 22. The police have been advised that Wm. Good, aged 67 years, was found dead in bed this morning.
CENTRAL OTAGO FATALITY
Dunedin, November 22
Charles Deal, a rabbiter, aged 6o years, was found dead this morning in a railway cutting between Lauder and Ornaku. It is supposed that be was killed by a goods train last night.
Mr C. Goodson bad the misfortune to meet with a painful accident at the Hawera Show grounds on Thursday afternoon. He was leading his imported purebred bull to a paddock, when the staff broke. The bull immediately rushed at Mr Goodson, who had the presence of mind to roll over. The beast, however, made a nasty wound on one of Mr Goodson’s hands, besides inflicting bruises on his left side. Some bystanders went to the rescue, and beat the animal off. Mr Goodson, although able to lie about (states the Star) is feeling the effects of the injuries he received.
