Amid cries of “Take it now!” M Willis adjourned the debate and lef tdio chair. On resuming in the evening, M Willis practically took the business oir of the hands of the Government. Hr refused to receive the Premier’s mo lion or allow him to move the suspen si on of the standing orders, even or the score of urgency. Finally, aftei a sitting which during the afternoon and evening combined lasted forty-five minutes, the Premier gave notice of a motion of dissent with the Speaker's ruling, and immediately moved the adjournment.
