REFUGE IN A MONASTERY. A FOUR. HOURS’ SIEGE. (Received 9.15 a.m.) St. Petersburg, November 18. The police at Czestochowa attemptd to arrest Koslowski, a notorious audit, at the famous Poulist Monasery, at Jasnagor, .where lie was atempting to seize treasure. Koslowski ook refuge in the bastion with a ■omrade, and threw bombs at the regiment of infantry and two squadrons if cavalry, which had surrounded Ik monastery. During a four hours’ fight, four per ions were wounded, and finally .the roops .blew up the bastion, killing .voslowski. During the-seize, a numjer of monks and 1000 pilgrims were ■onfinod panic stricken in the church.
