(Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 18. The Presbyterian Assembly resumed discussion on Home Mission Department. The duties of the Horn© Missionary were defined, the convener, Dr. Gibb, stating that a new and better day had dawned in Home Mission enterprise. Regarding Knox College extension, the hope was expressed that with the generosity of friends of the Church, of whom Mr John Ross had given £/000, the new buildings would he opened free of debt. With the present extension complete, there would he accommodation for over eighty students in residence. In recognition of the services of Dr. Andrew Cameron, it was decided to have a portrait of him painted.
