The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for sonthexdy winds strong to gale, and veering by south to east and decreasing. The we ifcher will prove squally with heavy showers. There is a prospect rf fine weather, days bright and nights ccld. Uarometor rising, expect high barometer pressure after 48 hours.
