DIVORCE CASES. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 16. The Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) granted decrees nisi in the. following undefended divorce gases Isabella Duncan v. Alexander Scott f)uuca , desertion; Maria Dull v William, Absalom Duff, insanity; John Griffiths v. \ Philoraent Griffiths, desertion ; h anny Will taker v. William Thomas VVhitaKer, desertion and adultery. “MARRIED IN HASTE.” Aucklanu, November 16. A decree nisi was granted to Joseph Walters, farmer, of Waiuku, uho married in July, 1905, aftei a hours’ acquaintance, ihe parties only lived together for three months, and then the wife left home. Ihe Judge i - marked: “It seems to me' the wile would have shown more care in buying a dress and the husband been more careful in taking a servant. A decree absolute was gianted to William Hussey against Elsa. Clara Blake. Hussey is a tanner at Pueiata, and was married on June 21st, Ude, to respondent,-whom he knew as Miss Bowles. Subsequently he learned she was previously married to a man named Theophilus R. Blake. This was borne, out by the evidence now adduced.
