PETROLEUM OPERATIONS.

SATISFACTORY ACOOU N'TS. (Per Press Association.) New Plymouth, November 16. Good progress has been made tins week with the petroleum operations. Most of the refining plant is on the ground. Rivetters have been engaged for the erection of the huge tanks. The wells continue to flow freely, and boring operations at Bell Block are proceeding' satisfactorily. The liquidators of the Tranaki Petroleum Company will receive the third payment next week and make the d.stribution to shareholders shortly.
