AN ARMISTICE.
At the Turkish request an armistice was forwarded to tire Royal headquarters, the entry to Constantinople to be carried out on the same lines as the Germans’ entry into Paris in 1871. The army insists that this will be crowning its labour. The Bulgarian commanders desire before agreeing to an armistice to create a military situation which will not leave Turkey the chance of resuming hostilities, but will facilitate the liberation of the bulk of the Bnlgana:i forces and lead to ■their eventual employment in another direction.
