STRATFORD BOY SCOUTS.

SOME OF THEIR MOVEMENTS

The Stratford Boy Scouts have been putting in good work of late, and are in active preparation for the competitions for shooting and the struggle for the proud position of being the best Scout in the troop. Medals will he given for the victor in each of those events.

The Miniature Ride Range has been duly inspected by the authorities, and shooting has been continuously indulged in. A prize of a pair of fieldglasses is to he given to the hoy who gets the highest percentage in his tests for the marksman’s hedge. Keen interest is being displayed in the approaching ’’trek” into the backblocks. The boys w'H start on about the Bth of January on a ten day trip. The main object will he to reach the Mokau ■ River.
