POLITICS IN AMERICA.
Washington, November 11. Mr Bryan, the United States Ambassador to Japan, has resigned. A movement to reorganise the Republicans on progressive lines has been launched, headed by Senators Commins,. Kenyon and Hadley.
Mi- Roosevelt asserts that the battle has just begun. Against the furious opposition of the political bosses the Progressives had secured four million and a half votes, an unparalleled feat in the annals of the American Government. The Progressives will support any party ready to legislate on progressive lines.
