BURNED TO DEATH

Auckland, November 12
The name of the woman burned to death at Woodhill on Saturday, and regarding whose death no further details are to hand, was Eliza Harden,' aged 73 years.
FELL OFF A TRAIN
Christchurch, November 12
A man was found dead on tho railway lino two miles on they Ambcrley side of Waipaka this morning. He is believed to be Charles Hoyle, a sr.epherd, between sixty and seventy years old, who had been employed on stations in the Ainnri district for the past thirty or forty years. The body was noticed by tho engine driver on the first train passing over tho line this morning, and he placed it on the train and conveyed ft to Arnberley. The body was cut about the head and arms, and tho injuries indicated that the man had fallen off a train, probably on Saturday night. A parcel found near the body was addressed to “C. Boyle.”
