The butchers at Globe Island have resumed work on conditions practically the same as contained in the old award, with the exception that they receive an extra shilling per hundred for sheep killed and dressed.

London, November 8
Thirty-five thousand’ workers in the hleeching, scouring and dyeing trades in Lancashire and Yorkshire have asked for an increase to sevenpenco an hour for adults, with a proportionate increase for bt»ys.
