ON THE BOWLING GREEN.

The Taranaki Bowling Association has decided that for the banner competition there be two divisions, North and South, the former to comprise the clubs from Eltham northward, and South to include the Plains and Southern clubs. Clubs may enter as many rinks as they desire, the scores of the three highest rinks to count; that 48 hours’ notice be given by the competing clubs, intimating the number of rinks they nominate to play; a special committee, consisting of the representatives of New Plymouth, Wah tara and Inglewood clubs, to be appointed to arrange fixtures for the matches in the northern division. The annual tournament was fixed to take place on January 28th, 29th, and 30th next.
