RAID ON BOOKMAKERS.
TWELVE MEN ARRESTED,
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, November 9. The police raided bookmakers’ offices tins' morning. A man named Whitba and eleven other men were arrested for violation of the Gaming Act. Bail was accepted, the cases to be heard on Monday.
