FEDERAL MASTER BAKERS. (Received 9.25 a.in.) Melbourne, October 31. At the Federal Master Bakers’ Conference, Mr Allen, of New Zealand, was present, and proposed combined action so as to reduce bakers’ expenses and thus be able to -sell bread cheaper. The Sydney representative declared that the greatest combine that ever existed was the' Trades Hall. Master bakers in Sydney had to take off their hats and say: “Workmen, would you mind coming to work to-morrow?” WOMEN AND HATPINS. (Received 9.25 a.m.) Sydney, October 31.
