Edmond Maryatt, tlio hairdresser of J’ahiaUia who was reported a few days ago as having mysteriously disappeared, was arrested at Gisborne yesterday by Sergeant Hutton and "Detective Mitchell, on a charge of wife desertion. Ho was working in a local hairdressing saloon.
