THE EXPEDITION’S LEADER. PLANS FOR THE FUTURE. (Por Press Association.) Wellington, October 30. Commander Evans, of the British Antarctic expedition, arrived in Wellington from England via Sydney today, and will join the Terra Nova at Lyttelton. The Terra Nova is expected to leave the southern port towards the end of December for Cape Evans, the base of the expedition, and will bring back Captain Scott and the members of his party. Tho vessel is expected to return to New Zealand about the end of March.
