The high prices ruling during the winter months have been too tempting to induce farmers ro keep hack their prime sheep for slioav purposes, but there are so many lasses in the fat sheep schedule that every farmer could easily pick out a pen. If not wethers or ewes, avliy not lambs? there are also classes for light and heavy weight Jong and fine wonllcd lambs. In these classes there are two awards, one made by the judge in the slioav pons afid the other by Home experts on the values realised in the London markets.
