“LIKE LAWYERS, CO TO HEAVEN.” It’s an old proverb in reference to slowness, “Like lawyers, go to Heaven.” Whether, there is any good reason for the inference, wo are not prepared to say. What we do knew,, is that if such' be the case, our present season’s shipments are on a par with them. The.great delay : in getting our goods away, occasioned' by the recent London dock strike, a,nd the congested state of the Wellington goods sheds, the disjointed transit arrangements between that port and New Plymouth; lias caused all sorts of annoying delays, and goods are turning up a case or two at a time, instead of all together. We are hoping the last portion ex “Rimutaka” will be to hand this week, when we shall see the end of our troubles for this season. “ ’Bide a wee,’ the Robinsons have the right goods at ■■ieht prices close at hand. x
