LI HUNG CHANG’S DIARY. (Received 9.40 a.m.) London, October 27. The Observer publishes an interesting extract from Li Hung Chang’s diary, including his European visit. Reference to General Gordon and the rebellion show his jealousies. He even suggests that General Gordon took a personal part in the treacherous killing of many prisoners.
