AMAZING TEASURE HUNT.
SEA-SUNKEN CITIES. Mr Bernard Meekham, an English explorer, accompanied by a small party of British capitalists, has just sailed from Liverpool on a treasure-seeking expedition so altogether amazing and fantastic that only the pen of Robert Louis Stevenson could do it justice. In a word, tl}e expedition has been organised and finanped by English and Mexican capital fpr the purpose of looting the sea-sunken cities of a lost continent, which may or may not' prove to he the mysterious Atlantis of hoary tradition. The hoped-for treasure trove is located in the Caribbean Sea, near the coast of Yucatan, the most southern province of Mexico, for which Mr Meekham and his associates are now headed. On their arrival there they will be joined by a largo staff of engineers, divers, submarine crews, and archaeological experts, all of whom are already under contract.
