THE CANADIAN CADETS.
AT INVERCARGILL. (Per Press Association.) Invercargill, October 22. The Canadian Cadets wore taken for a- motor trip to Winton this morning, and on arrival there wore welcomed by the Mayor and entertained at luncheon. They returned to Invercargill in the afternoon, and played a football match with a team of local cadets, Invercargill winning by six points to three. The Canadian hoys play the conventional game, but are not up to the standard of New Zealand football. This evening they attended a picture show, and to-monow they will leave for Dunedin.
