Loan and Mercantile Agency Company will sell five 2 year old and ten yearling Holstein bulls, on account of Messrs. Haim Bros. On Monday, Messrs. W. H. H. Young and Co. will sell thirty Holstein, Shorthorn, and Jersey bulls. Special services will be conducted in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to-morrow by the Rev. H. J. Lewis. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. —To-morrow, Sunday, October 20th, is Young People’s Day. Special Services will be conducted by Rev. H. .J Lewis, The Sunday School scholars will attend the morning service. x Two or three gentlemen boarders for a quiet home are wanted. Services to-morrow in Wesley Church will be conducted by Mr. R. vVickham in the morning and the Rev A. Reader in the evening, when an address to men will be given. Subject; “The Destruction that Wasfbth at Noontide.” All are invited. x The twenty-second anniversary of the Stratford Primitive Methodist Church will be celebrated to-morrow. There will be special singing by a large choir, and the sermons, will be delivered by the Rev. S. Bailey, of Wanganui, whose reputation as a preacher is very high. x Messrs. Matthews, Bennett and Co.’s next Inglewood stock sale takes place on Wednesday, October 23rd. Entries appear in another column. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Limited and Reduced, are holding their annual bull fair on Monday next, 21st" October, when they will offer SO to 100 bulls, on account of well known breeders. This is the first fair of the season, and farmers will do well to attend, as some choice bulls will be offered.
