STATES GOVERNMENT ALARMED (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) Washington, October 17. The Government is alarmed at the situation at \ era Cruz, and lias ordered the cruiser Dcsmoiucs there to protect Americans. BAejackets will be landed if necessary. All the revolutionary elements are joining in the overthrow of the Madero Government. The rebel cauturo of Vera Cruz is part of a greater plan against the Government.
