Loan and Mercantile Agency Go. advertise their stock sale in conjunction with Messrs. W. H. H. Young and Co. The ‘TLB.” New Zealand Clothing Factory notify that they have a large ’stock of good and serviceable boots for men. Particulars are given in their space elsewhere. Another important sale is announced by the Melbourne to commence on Saturday next, the 19th inst. The sale under notice comprises the second instalment of “job” nurchascs recently bought in London by the firm’s managing director. The prices quoted in the inset published with this issue are a revelation in valuegiving, a fact which the public will no doubt be quick to appreciate. ' At the Stratford sale yards to-mor-row the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. will hold a springing heifer sale. Entries are advertised elsewhere. To-morrow Mr. Newton King s Hay-, market and Mart sales take place, when pigs, calves, timber, furniture, poultry, and vegetables will be sold. A certificated engine-driver is wanted. Mr. T. Lamason will hold a Haymarket sale in addition to his usual Mart sale to-morrow. Pigs, calves, ahd horses will be offered for sale. A three year old heifer close to profit is advertised for. The Matron of the Hawera Hospital advertises for two laundresses, wages £1 each. A nurse girl, just left school, is wanted. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Limited and Reduced, are holding their annual bull fair on Monday next, 21st” October, when they w ill offer SO to 100 bulls, on account of well known breeders. This is the first fair of the season, and farmers will do well to attend, as some choice bulls will bo offered. Particulars are advertised elsewhere. x The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., will bo offering at their Stratford springing heifer sale on Saturday next some rcallj choice 3-year-old heifers close to profit, and farmers in want of dairy stock cannot do better than spend an hour or 30 at the yards.
