REEFTON MINING DISPUTE

(Per Press Association.) Reefton, October 18. The Conciliation Council, which sat for two days on the Reefton mining dispute, concluded last night at ten o’clock. Several possible solutions of the dispute were discussed without a definite settlement being arrived at. Finally it was resolved by the parties to confer with the parent organisations. The Federation of Labour and the Mine Owners’ Association will ■’ced to be consulted before any further developments can be expected.
