WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: • The indications arc for variable and strong breezes, but southerly winds strong to gale prevailing shortly and squally at’ times. Expect dull weather with heavy mist in parts; also expect heavy rain. Barometer unsteady, but rising shortly.
