The '.Morning Post' says that it is probable that Barry will give Arnst another race in New Zealand waters. BOXING. HAG ARTY'v. BURNS. Christchurch, October 15. Jas. Hagerty (Tiniaru) and Theo. Burns (Australia) were to have met to decide the featherweight boxing championship of New Zealand to-night for a purse of £SO, but both were overweight. They boxed for the purse, with the result that Hagerty knocked out Burns in the fifth round.
