DUNEDIN BAND CONTEST.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, October 15, At the band contest to-day, the B flat cornets competition was won by J. Annand (Kaikprai) 98, H. Dickinson (St. Kikla) 97, W. A. Osborne (Timaru Garris.m)96, E. Sclmack (Kaikorai) 95, -S. Barnes (St. Hilda.) 91. Twenty-one others competed. The judge said there were only five who realised anything about the solo. Consequent on heavy rain the garden party has been postponed till Thursday.
