THE LOST SUBMARINE.

Four destroyers are engaged in sweeping operations for the lost submarine. So far their efforts have been without result. Operations will be continued to-night.

Lieutenant Pullcyne states that ho was carried to the bottom with the submarine, but a terrific rush of escaping air inflated his oilskins and carried him to the surface. Ho managed to wriggle out of the oilskins.

Naval circles attribute the disaster to suction. B2 LOCATED. (Received 11.-10 a.m.) London, October 7. The -submarine B2 has been located. It was not cut in half as supposed. Divers are now operating. FIFTEEN LOST IN EIGHT YEARS.
